Our Story
Zaca Coffee was founded in late 2021 by Santa Ynez Valley’s husband/wife team, Dennis Patrick and Hayley Firestone. Dennis and Hayley are committed to offering outstanding coffee to residents and visitors on the Central Coast. Roasted in Buellton, Zaca Coffee blends were created after a year’s tasting and blending. Green beans are sourced through specialty coffee importers importing top-grade Arabica beans from South America and Ethiopia.
Hayley grew up in her family’s winery (Firestone Vineyard) and learned much from her brother and brother-in-law’s beer company (Firestone-Walker Brewery). Now, with her husband offers roasted coffees. From their ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley, Hayley and Dennis launched their coffee adventure along with the expertise of Roaster Rob Wallace whose career began in the R&D labs of Farmers Brothers where he was responsible for creating blends for the likes of McDonalds restaurants.
